General Species Description:
Length 26 cm, including tail of 12 cm. Conspicuous bright green bird with long, pointed wing and tail. Colour pattern of head with varying amount of orange and yellow subject to geographical radiation; dullen in young and immature. Bill strong, high; upper mandible sharply curved. Feet short, toes efficient organs for grasping and manipulatin food and other objects. Flight fast, with rapid wing beats
